Numbing cream usually will be applied before injection. During injection it should be painless. Dermal filler itself has local anaesthesia in it as well.

Only hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be dissolved.

What are the potential complications of dermal fillers?

Most modern medical procedure carries risk. Dermal filler complications are generally not common and rare. However slightly more common complications such as bruises, swelling, asymmetry, infection does occurred. Rare complications such as injection into the blood vessels are rare.

What are the post treatment care?

Avoid alcohol and spicy food for 24 hours. Take care of the injection site wound. Avoid massage, contact sports or any pressure towards the filler area for at least 2 weeks.
